Maia's the Co-founder and CRO of Nav.it, a fintech focused on improving the quality of life of everyday people. After working in human performance technology, Maia joined Erin Papworth to build Nav.it, a financial app known as 'the fitness app for your finances.' Nav.it is the first science-based platform improving financial capability that is available both directly to consumers and through employee wellness programs. Maia's work at Nav.it has been instrumental not only in their unique go-to-market strategy, but also in their behavior-based product architecture that uses proprietary models to automatically coach towards lasting behavior change. After 12 months on Nav.it consumers (known as ‘Navigators’) pay down an average of $3,000 in debt, increase savings by $750, and boost credit scores by 50 points.

 

Having felt firsthand the acute funding bias female fintech founders face, Maia worked with her own network to establish MoDa Partners, a venture fund investing in female founders and fund managers in under-represented categories. MoDa's funding some of the most innovation female-led and focused solutions in market today. Under Maia’s leadership, the fund is also dedicated to helping other female allocators align their capital towards impact investment strategies that improve the economic equality of women everywhere.
